Fireworks on Halloween are a Metro Vancouver tradition we can definitely get behind, and every year, the City of Richmond puts on a free Halloween Fireworks Festival to mark the occasion. So if you’re looking for a fun place to gather with family and friends while in costume (or out), this is a great option!

The free-to-enter festival takes place at Minoru Park (7191 Granville Avenue), featuring an array of ghoulish activities. This includes a live magician and jugglers, roaming actors in costume, and performances by the “ShowStoppers” ensemble.

Visitors can also check out a live pumpkin carving, carnival-style games, an inflatable corn maze, and giant pumpkin displays, and indulge in festive bites, according to the City of Richmond.

Looking to check out even more spooky festivities? Some of the other 20+ family-friendly events to check out in Richmond include Halloween-themed skates in costume, Monster Mash Dance Parties, and a “Halloween Hoot” at the Richmond Nature Park.

This year’s Fireworks Festival will take place on Thursday, October 31st from 6:30 pm to 8:45 pm, with the dazzling firework finale starting at 8:30 pm.

So there you have it, Halloween lovers! Get your costumes in order and get ready to celebrate another spooky season in Richmond.
