This year, the Quebec City German Christmas markets , also known as Le Marché de Noël allemand de Québec, will begin on November 21 and run until December 23. They’re open weekly from Thursday to Sunday. The market’s opening hours are 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The market goes all out to give visitors that authentic German Christmas experience, from rustic wooden kiosks filled with German handcrafted ornaments to carved wooden Santas and beautifully decorated Christmas pyramids imported from Germany itself.
Local artisans add their own Quebec twist to gifts, ranging from cozy knitwear to unique art pieces, making it the perfect spot to pick up something special for those on your holiday list.
