This museum is the largest tri-service museum in Western Canada and the second-largest military museum in the country! It’s dedicated to preserving the Canadian military service’s memories and traditions through immersive displays and educational experiences. Not only that, the whole place houses 8 different museums under one roof!

This museum is also only 11 minutes from downtown, putting it smack in the middle of the city for an easy drive or commute no matter which quadrant you’re coming from. There’s ample parking too, so you can load up the minivan and bring the whole family!

The Air Force Museum

Ever dreamed about flying? The Air Force Museum celebrates the achievements of the Royal Canadian Air Force, now marking its 100th anniversary. Learn about the technological history of aviation and the role of Canadian pilots throughout history.

The Air Force Cold War Museum

Within the Air Force Museum, you can dive deeper into the tense period of the Cold War. This section provides insights into Canada’s role in the global standoff between the Eastern and Western blocs. The Lord Strathcona’s Horse Museum

The Calgary Highlanders Museum

Discover the proud history of the famed regiment that saw significant action in both the First and Second World Wars. The museum’s exhibits cover the regiment’s participation in both World Wars, peacekeeping missions, and even local community events.
