Getting there

The township of Minden Hills, Ontario is north east of Kawartha Lakes, a rural area that will take you around two hours and 45 minutes to get to by car from Toronto.

Things to do

One of the best parts of Minden Hills is the changing colours this time of year.

While the township is lined with foliage, there’s one spot that stands out above the rest.

Panorama Park is the township’s elevated park overlooks the village of Minden and offers a beautiful setting for picnics has a picture-perfect viewof the changing fall colours below.

To find this spot just go to the entrance at the Cultural Centre on Bobcaygeon Road.

If you want to get some steps in then head over the Minden Boardwalk and Riverwalk. 

Starting at the main entrance at the Minden Hills Cultural Centre, the boardwalk winds through a natural grass marsh and eventually intercepts the Riverwalk, creating a lovely loop to include downtown Minden!
