Sunflower season is upon us! If wandering through sun-soaked fields full of golden sunflower blooms sounds like your ideal summer day, you’ll want to visit this dreamy sunflower festival in Ontario.

Just a short road trip from Toronto, you can visit a cute farm that’s home to hundreds of thousands of sunflowers, perfect for strolling through.

Campbell’s Cross Farm is a wellness farm located in the rural Caledon area, about an hour from Toronto.

The farm is home to over 700,000 sunflowers, which bloom from late July throughout August.

You can visit the sunflower fields during the farm’s Sunflower Festival, which runs until early September. During this time, visitors can enjoy walking throughout the more than 30 acres of sunflowers and even cut their own flowers to take home.

You can also walk to the farm’s heart-shaped sunflower cut out in the middle of their sunflower fields, as well as get some cute photos at one of the many photo ops on the property, including a giant “LOVE” sign, a vintage black truck, and a red bicycle.

In addition to the sunflowers, the farm offers a variety of unique events and activities, including wellness events like yoga and meditation sessions, floral arranging, painting workshops and the opportunity to have a rustic charcuterie picnic in the sunflower field.

While you’re here, you can also visit the “Little Coop” and meet the farm’s hens and resident peacock, Pablo. You can also learn about the farm’s apiary, home to 26 bee hives producing pure, raw honey, and even take some home to enjoy.

If you want to grab some refreshments during your visit, you can stop in at Cordoba Coffee, the farm’s newly introduced cafe, which serves up everything from smoothies and iced lattes to slushies and hot chocolate, as well as several creations featuring Campbell’s Cross honey.

You can also indulge in wood-fired pizza, or try the farm’s famous watermelon sandwich, as well as watermelon lemonade, pies, ice cream and more at The Watermelon Sandwich Food Truck.

The farm is open on weekdays and weekends throughout August.

Admission costs $13.50 per person for adults and children 12 years and older. General admission tickets can be purchased online or on-site, and you can even bring your furry friend along with you.

A visit to the farm and a stroll through the sunflower field is the perfect way to end the summer.

Be sure to come back in the fall for the farm’s Fall Fest activities, including a corn maze, pumpkin picking, tractor rides, s’mores making, and more.
