The Blue Jays have 15 job openings in Toronto right now, ranging from part-time gigs to full-time roles.
Among the openings is a photographer associate, to work Blue Jays events, both baseball and non-baseball related, and other areas such as social media and in-game entertainment.
One particularly notable job listed is a senior mental performance coach. A big role in this job is to design and deliver both individual and group performances to help enhance players’ focus, composure, resiliency, and self-awareness.
Required qualifications for this position include a master’s degree in either sport or performance psychology or a related discipline. It also requires four to five years of past experience working with professional, military, or college athletes.
Another interesting position up for grabs is a fan insights associate. This position requires somebody to develop and program surveys and analyze data to support operations of other departments including fan experience, ticket sales, and digital marketing.
While most of the positions are off-field, they are also searching for a groundskeeper at their Florida Operations in Dunedin. This position helps support the overall maintenance and upkeep of all playing surfaces and outdoor spaces at the Blue Jays’ Player Development Center and TD Ballpark.
Those interested in applying for the fan insights associate role will need to be upcoming or recent graduates in market research, consumer insights, data and analytics, or related fields.
The vast majority of these roles will be based out of Toronto, though there are a few available in Dunedin, Florida.
