After the announcement of the brand-new Rogers Stadium, set to open in June 2025, Toronto is adding yet another outdoor music venue.

Set to be named Skyline Bowl, this new music venue will be added to Toronto’s long list of spots to catch music in an outdoor setting.

Skyline Bowl will be located in the city’s east end, with the exact location still under wraps.

Speaking to Curiocity, a project manager for Skyline Bowl shared a few details on what Torontonians can expect.

“Skyline Bowl will be a grand open-air venue designed for large events,” shares the project manager. “Its sweeping bowl-shaped design will allow for easy crowd flow and maximum visibility of the stage. Guests can expect international acts, large music festivals, and cultural events, all set against the stunning city skyline and evening sunsets. The venue’s design includes extensive VIP lounges and eco-friendly infrastructure with a capacity of 40,000 people.”

The project is set to be completed by 2027, and by that time, it will be one of three massive outdoor music venues alongside Budweiser Stage and Rogers Stadium.

While Curiocity couldn’t get confirmation on some of the acts expected to be booked at Skyline Bowl, they did share that an “international pop star you all know and love” is in the talks to be the first show at the venue upon its opening in 2027.

One thing is for sure: once Skyline Bowl is open, there will certainly be no shortage of spots to catch concerts in the summertime.
