Halloween is just around the corner and there are loads of Hallo-weekend parties and pop-up events taking place across Toronto to get you in the spooky season.

If you’re looking to celebrate Desi style, then check out Bollywood Dhamaka, Halloween edition!  This will be Toronto’s first Bollywood-themed Halloween costume party, where attendees will dance the night away to the hottest Bollywood hits. But guests can’t show up in any old costume — the dress code is to dress up as an iconic Bollywood character!

DJ MavZ will be spinning tracks all night, including the latest Bollywood hits, the ultimate throwback songs, Punjabi bangers, hip-hop fusion, rap, and more.

Hundreds are expected to attend this 19+ event and you can grab your tickets ($20+) here.

Bollywood Dhamaka (Halloween Edition) is taking place Fri. Oct. 25, 10PM-2AM in the heart of downtown Toronto at Scarlett Toronto, 571 Queen St W.

If you’re looking for something a bit spookier, then check out the Black Lagoon Halloween-themed pop-up bar at Bar Mordecai throughout the last two weeks of October! This renowned cocktail experience offers spine-chilling, immersive fun, and is inspired by all-things goth-metal and cult horror (sip on playfully frightening cocktails like  Nosferatu’s Rise (made of Coconut Oil Lot 40, Lustau Amontillado Sherry, Cinnamon Syrup, Bitter Queens Caribbean Bitters, and Saline) and Hex Appeal  (made of Fords Gin, Honeydew Cordial, Lustau Vermut Dry, Lemon Juice, Seltzer, Saline, Absinthe, and Chlorophyll). Guests are encouraged to show up in costume to enjoy this nightmarish atmosphere!

And if that’s not scary enough for you, then check out Offworld Bar on Queen St West — it’s been transformed into…Hellbar. Throughout October, saints and sinners alike are invited to trade in the starry heavens for the warm and cozy pits of the underworld — even the food and drinks will have a devilish twist, like the hellish-ly delicious Fries of the Damned — a skull-full of crispy fries served with truffle aioli and Grana Padano, with a side of death seasoning (ghost peppers and garlic)! Or order ‘The Confessor’ cocktail. Simply text your sins to the number on the card provided with your cocktail, and the bar’s confessional professionals will assign you the appropriate penance!

And if you’re looking to face your phobias this season, check out these super creepy haunted houses in Toronto.
