Qatar Airways has expanded its extensive global network and has launched new non-stop flights from Toronto Pearson Airport to this sunny city.
The airline’s inaugural flight to Toronto Pearson International Airport landed on Dec. 12, marking the official launch of its three weekly non-stop flights from Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar.
Flights to and from the cities will be every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with Doha to Toronto departing at 8:10 a.m., and arriving at 2:15 p.m., local time and Toronto to Doha departing at 8 p.m. and arriving at 4:30 p.m. local time.

This highly anticipated route from Toronto Pearson unlocks an exciting range of destinations for passengers looking to fly to the Middle East, Asia and Africa,” said Toronto Pearson Chief Executive Officer and President, Deborah Flint.
“Global connectivity is a strategic importance to Canada and to Pearson as the demand for international travel rapidly grows and this route adds to the variety of convenient and accessible flight options for our passengers.”
The multiple award-winning airline, Qatar Airways recently won the World’s Best Airline for the eighth time at the 2024 World Airline Awards, done by international air transport rating organization, Skytrax. It also took home World’s Best Business Class, World’s Best Business Class Airline Lounge, and Best Airline in the Middle East.
The airline continues to push boundaries, now becoming the world’s first to operate a Boeing 777 equipped with Starlink, offering complimentary high-speed connectivity on board. This allows travellers to stay connected throughout the flight, whether enjoying the à la carte dining in Business Class or unlimited snacks and beverages in Economy.

Non-stop flights can now be purchased as early as Dec. 13, with one-way tickets starting at $2,571. With Toronto now joining Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, added back in 2011 as Qatar Airways’ second Canadian destination, the airline continues to enhance its offerings for Canadian passengers.
