WestJet has dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to Havana, Cuba down to between $340 and $432 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are nonstop both ways.
I consider $340 roundtrip to be WestJet’s clickbait (CB) price because it doesn’t include checked luggage or carry-on. Not exactly a realistic way to travel.
$432 roundtrip is the more realistic price because at least it includes checked luggage.
However, those with the WestJet World Elite credit card can take advantage of the clickbait price as the card gives you (and those you travel with) free checked luggage.

How to find and book this deal
1. Go to the WestJet website
– Search for a flight from Toronto (YYZ) to Havana, Cuba (HAV)
Departure Dates: Try Thursday and Sunday dates in January or February 2026. Look for the dates that are $198.
Return Dates: Try Thursday and Sunday dates in January or February 2026. Look for the dates that are $142.
2. At this point, there are a few different ways you can book these flights…
For $340 roundtrip. This includes *only* a personal item (something that can fit under the seat in front of you).
– But those with the WestJet World Elite credit card can still bring free checked bags for themselves and those travelling with them and may find this fare useful.
– To book this price simply proceed to book WestJet’s ‘UltraBasic’ fare.
*OR*
For $432 roundtrip. This includes a personal item and a checked bag. But not carry-on.
– To book this price proceed to book WestJet’s ‘UltraBasic’ fare for $340 roundtrip.
– When you get about 3 steps into the booking process, you’ll see the option to add a checked bag for $92.50 roundtrip.
