Actually, that’s not quite true. Avianca has a fare class known as ‘XS’ that doesn’t include any carry-on luggage and allows their prices to appear significantly cheaper than they really are in major search engines.
You need to add around $130 CAD roundtrip to their prices for a more realistic comparison against other airlines.
So really, Avianca’s flights to Chile have dropped down to $562 CAD roundtrip.
