Fans were delighted on Christmas Day when Netflix released a surprise trailer for the highly-anticipated sequel to the 1996 movie Happy Gilmore. The upcoming Adam Sandler movie, Happy Gilmore 2, which will debut nearly 30 years after the original, returns viewers to the world of the fan-favorite golf comedy.

The teaser trailer, which clocks in at less than a minute, didn’t give many details of what Kelce’s role could be in the movie, though it appears as if he plays a waiter or some sort of country club employee based on the quick snippet.

“It’s great to see you back, Mr. Gilmore,” he said, addressing Sandler. Kelce wore a white button-down shirt, black tie, and maroon vest in the clip.

Kelce has mentioned his love of the original film on his podcast, New Heights, even going so far as to bring Sandler on as a guest on the Aug. 28 episode.

After confirming that he would appear in the sequel, Sandler quipped, “We were talking about you playing my son while we were writing it literally like, six months ago. We were like, ‘imagine if Travis was my first baby, how funny that would be.’”

Kelce then teased that he’s “got the swing down,” prompting Sandler to tell him, “we’re gonna have fun.”

Fans will recognize frequent players in the Sandler-verse in the upcoming film—including Nick Swardson and returning stars like Ben Stiller, Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald, who played Sandler’s nemesis in the first movie, Shooter McGavin.

Grammy winners Bad Bunny and Eminem also appear in the movie, though only the reggaeton star made it into the teaser trailer.
