Another of Travis Kelce’s Grotesquerie co-stars has shared their thoughts on the NFL star after watching him make his acting debut on the new FX series from creator Ryan Murphy.

Raven Goodwin, who said she “absolutely loved” the script for the horror show when she read it for the first time, reflected on her experience acting with Kelce during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter that was published on Friday, Oct. 11.

Goodwin, 32, described the Kansas City Chiefs tight end as “so cool” and “so patient” throughout the filming process. Unlike others she’s seen come into acting for their first time without an appreciation for the job, she said Kelce “understood how much work it took” and “truly respected” the process.

“He showed up to work,” she told the magazine. “He knew his lines and he had fun.”

It was “refreshing” to see Kelce’s on-set behavior as a new actor, with Goodwin also observing that he “really took it seriously.”

Goodwin is the latest of Kelce’s co-stars to weigh in on the professional athlete’s behavior during filming. Courtney B. Vance described the Chiefs star as “very warm” and “very cool” during a recent conversation with People, adding that Kelce seemed “prepared” and “was open” to suggestions whenever he felt that he “needed some help.”

Niecy Nash-Betts echoed Vance’s opinion about Kelce seeming “prepared” on set, telling the Canadian entertainment news show Etalk that the 35-year-old was “open to learn” and appeared to have “caught the bug” for acting.

Grotesquerie premiered in late September and is scheduled to continue airing episodes on Wednesdays through the end of October. In the meantime, Kelce has shifted his focus back to his career as a professional football player, with the Chiefs undefeated at the time of writing. The Chiefs are next scheduled to take on the San Francisco 49ers—the team they defeated during Super Bowl LVIII back in February—at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., on Monday, Oct. 20.
