Treehouse Hotels has announced the upcoming opening of its latest property, Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley, which is accepting reservations for stays beginning March 1, 2025. The brand, owned by SH Hotels & Resorts, offers a relaxed and engaging experience, breaking from traditional hotel norms.

The first Treehouse hotel opened in London’s Marylebone district in 2019 and has garnered multiple awards for its unique and innovative approach to hospitality. The brand plans to open another location in Manchester, England in 2025. Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley, located in Sunnyvale, California, marks the brand’s first venture in the United States.

Barry Sternlicht, Founder and Chairman of SH Hotels & Resorts, explains that the Treehouse Hotel brand intends to evoke nostalgia and refuge. The Silicon Valley location aims to merge this vision with the innovative spirit of the tech world, creating a space where guests can relax, rejuvenate, and reignite their imaginations.

The hotel offers an array of experiences for guests. From biking under the trees to enjoying a vibrant food and beverage selection, the hotel encourages exploration and discovery. The hotel is in Sunnyvale, a city known for its sunshine and fertile lands. The hotel grounds are filled with native oaks, redwoods, and fruit trees, showcasing the area’s rich agricultural history.

The hotel’s design nods to the tech innovations that have sprung from Sunnyvale, the birthplace of Atari. The hotel blends nostalgia with creativity, and the arrival pavilion houses a 1967 Volkswagen Beetle to set the tone for the guest experience. The hotel currently offers 111 rooms, with plans to expand to 254.

Stephanie Izard, a James Beard Award-winning chef, leads the dining scene at Treehouse Silicon Valley. The menu offers globally inspired, shareable plates focusing on Northern California’s fresh, local ingredients. The hotel also features a Beer Garden, offering a range of craft beers, cocktails, and biodynamic wines.

Treehouse Silicon Valley is near major tech firm headquarters and attractions like the Intel Museum. Guests can also use the hotel’s complimentary bikes to explore Sunnyvale’s scenic paths and downtown area. The hotel also offers a variety of meeting and event spaces, making it ideal for gatherings of all sizes.
