TRIBE has opened a new hotel at Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport, marking the brand’s second location in Hungary. The hotel, developed by WING, is adjacent to the ibis Styles Budapest Airport.

The hotel features 167 rooms and includes a restaurant and lounge with a capacity for 140 guests and an outdoor terrace for 60. Additional amenities include a rooftop skybar, a fitness center on the seventh floor, a 150-seat conference room, and two meeting spaces.

The TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel aims to be one of Hungary’s first BREEAM-certified hotels, indicating a focus on sustainability. The hotel will be operated under a management agreement with Accor, and its architectural design was carried out by Aspectus Architect, a subsidiary of WING. The construction was managed by Swietelsky Magyarország, with interiors designed by este’r partners.

TRIBE, founded in Australia in 2017, currently operates over 20 hotels worldwide and has more than 30 projects in development. The brand focuses on providing functional and stylish living spaces.

WING, a real estate developer in Hungary and Central Europe, developed the new hotel. The company has previously collaborated with Accor on the ibis Styles Budapest Airport Hotel, which opened in 2018.

The new hotel is expected to enhance Budapest Airport’s infrastructure and support the city’s role as a regional business and tourism hub. Its location is intended to meet the demand for additional accommodation capacity at the airport.

The TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel is part of WING’s broader strategy to develop sustainable properties that provide long-term value.

The opening of the TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel follows the brand’s debut in Hungary in 2023 with the ibis & TRIBE Budapest Stadium at Liberty.
