Tru by Hilton unveils an updated prototype design and expands its global footprint with over 300 operational hotels.

Tru by Hilton, a midscale Hilton brand, has announced a refreshed prototype design aimed at enhancing the overall guest experience. The brand debuted in 2016 and has rapidly expanded to more than 300 hotels globally, including recent openings in Vietnam, Chile, and Colombia.

The new prototype design offers improvements in guest rooms, public spaces, and guest floors, all informed by feedback from guests, hotel owners, and hotel teams. Changes include a redesigned mobile rolling desk in guest rooms, improved lighting, updated furnishings, and a new roller shade system design for window treatments. Further adjustments include new soft seating, high-back chairs in the lobby, and a redesigned media wall.

Additionally, the new design introduces a heat. & cool. station on every guest floor, allowing travelers easier access to microwaves, ice machines, and water bottle refill stations. The update was inspired by recurring guest and operator feedback, highlighting a commitment to addressing the evolving needs of today’s travelers.

As Tru by Hilton celebrates the opening of its 300th hotel, the brand continues to expand globally. Its growth spans the U.S. and major international cities, showcasing its appeal across diverse markets.

Notable recent and upcoming openings include the Tru by Hilton Houston Downtown Convention Center, the Tru by Hilton Hanoi Station in Vietnam, the upcoming Tru by Hilton Montreal Centre-Ville in Canada, and the Tru by Hilton Saltillo in Mexico.
