• Unique ‘Wicked’ Film Experience Offered at New York Hilton Midtown – Image Credit Hilton

The New York Hilton Midtown has collaborated with Universal Pictures to offer guests a unique stay experience in a suite themed after the upcoming film, ‘Wicked.’ This initiative celebrates the movie’s theater release on November 22, 2024.

Reservations for the ‘Stay Like’ Wicked suite can be made between November 21, 2024, and January 5, 2025. The suite promises an immersive experience, with decor inspired by the film’s Land of Oz and its central characters, Elphaba and Glinda.

The suite includes a living area styled after the Wizard’s Throne Room and a bedroom that takes design cues from Shiz University’s enchanted forest and a pink wonderland, representing Elphaba and Glinda, respectively.

According to Chris Silcock, president of Global Brands and Commercial Services at Hilton, the collaboration aims to provide guests with an experience beyond the room, blending the film’s magic with Hilton’s signature hospitality.

In addition to the suite’s captivating decor, guests will enjoy various surprises, such as a hidden beverage bar, bespoke in-room happy hour, and a unique breakfast delivery.

The 625 sq. ft. suite can accommodate up to four guests and includes access to the hotel’s Executive Lounge. Additionally, guests will receive Wicked-themed takeaways and movie tickets to see the film.

The ‘Stay Like’ Wicked suite is part of Hilton’s immersive, themed suites series. Such themed guest rooms have been gaining popularity since 2023 and are expected to continue trending in 2025.

The film Wicked, directed by Jon M. Chu, brings the beloved stage musical to the big screen this holiday season. The second part is scheduled for release on November 21, 2025. The film narrates the untold story of the witches of Oz, featuring Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda.

Universal Pictures is a division of Universal Studios, part of NBCUniversal, a leading global media and entertainment company.
