Unity Energy LLC Acquires Post Time Inn in Carlsbad, NM from Blue Ash Realty Group

HVS Brokerage & Advisory has finalized the sale of the 40-room Post Time Inn in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Unity Energy LLC.

HVS Brokerage & Advisory announced the completion of the sale of the Post Time Inn, a 40-room hotel located at 311 West Fox Street in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The property was acquired by Unity Energy LLC, a Carlsbad-based company, from Blue Ash Realty Group LLC, a Spring, Texas-based company.

The Post Time Inn, rebuilt in 2020, is strategically situated along Hobbs Highway/U.S. Highway 62. The location benefits from its proximity to the city of Hobbs and Lea County, a region recognized for its high oil production, thanks to the Permian Basin. This area serves as a hub for major energy companies such as Halliburton and Patterson-UTI Drilling Co. Local educational institutions and medical facilities also drive consistent demand for accommodations.

Located in Carlsbad’s Downtown district, the Post Time Inn is situated along Canal Street, the city’s main thoroughfare. This central location provides guests with access to a variety of dining, shopping, and cultural attractions. Carlsbad is also near Carlsbad Caverns National Park, which recorded approximately 394,000 visitors in 2023, according to data from the National Park Service.
