Plenty of restaurants offer special menu items or curated multi-course meals for Valentine’s Day. In this article we’ve listed some of our top recommendations for places in Vancouver and on the North Shore. All of them have their own unique Valentine’s Day offerings in 2025!
Cliff House Restaurant & Bar
The Cliff House Restaurant & Bar is the on-site restaurant at Capilano Suspension Bridge located at 3755 Capilano Road in North Vancouver.
From about the end of January until late February, Capilano Suspension Bridge has its annual Love Lights event. The popular attraction features plenty of Valentine-themed lights and decorations that make the bridge a most romantic place to visit.
The Cliff House gets in on the action as well. For the entirety of Love Lights (January 31st to February 23rd in 2025) the restaurant offers a selection of special “Love Bites” menu options.
This year the special items include a chicken supreme risotto ($33) as a main and dark chocolate molten cake ($14) for dessert. For drinks there’s a rose martini, Chambord royale cocktail and Agavero chocolate cafe latte.

H2 Kitchen + Bar
The H2 Kitchen + Bar is one of the two restaurants inside the Westin Bayshore Hotel at 1601 Bayshore Drive in Vancouver. It offers a three-course menu priced at $68 on Valentine’s Day.
The entrée options include smoked Hiro Wagyu short rib, winter truffle lumache au gratin, and roasted maple cured sablefish. Each dish comes with a suggested wine pairing from the bar’s extensive drinks menu.
The choice of appetizers is lobster bisque or a warm beet salad. Dark chocolate Basque cheesecake is the dessert.

H Tasting Lounge (and Winterlust)
Also inside the Westin Bayshore Hotel is the H Tasting Lounge. The restaurant’s most unique feature is the Winterlust dining experience where patrons can dine inside a glass and wood dome on the outdoor patio.
Winterlust is open during the fall and winter, including on Valentine’s Day. The Valentine’s Day special in 2025 features a multi-course meal where the mains are Fraser Valley Wagyu steak, zucchini-wrapped sablefish with lobster thermidor, or acorn squash agnolotti. There’s also a secret final dish that you take home with you after the meal is done.
Up to six people can fit inside the dome, meaning that multiple couples can enjoy their Valentine’s Day dinner together if they wish. The experience on February 14th costs $350 per person. It’s very fancy and it’s something you’ll remember for a very long time!

The price for the three-course meal is $79. Guests have the choice between scallop & prawn linguine, beef wellington & short rib cassoulet, or vegetable wellington for their main course. That’s after having either salted cod & crab cake, asparagus veloute or a beef & burrata salad for the appetizer. Dessert is a chocolate fondue plate made for two.

Pier 7 Restaurant & Bar
As the name implies, Pier 7 Restaurant & Bar sits right on the water of Vancouver Harbour. The address is 25 Wallace Mews in North Vancouver’s Shipyards District. The restaurant specializes in seafood dishes, although there’s plenty of variety in the Valentine’s Day dishes.
The special February 14th menu costs $87 in 2025. Lobster bisque and tuna tartare are listed among the starters. The entrées include prawn & scallop gnocchi, braised short rib rigatoni and steak au poivre.
New York cheesecake and black forest cake are available for dessert. Extras that you can add on to the meal include caviar and a petal & thorn cocktail.
Visit pierseven.ca for more information of what’s on offer.
Showcase Restaurant & Bar
Showcase Restaurant is located across the street from the P2B Bistro at 1122 West Hastings Street. It’s inside the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel.
The restaurant’s Valentine’s Day menu is available from February 14th to 16th in 2025. It’s a little more expensive on the 14th ($115) compared to the other two days ($95), in part because those who go on the 14th get a little extra food in the form of a maple ginger cured steelhead “amuse bouche”. Otherwise the menu on each of the days is the same.
The highlight dishes on offer at this restaurant are roasted duck breast & pressed duck confit, a five-ounce grilled beef tenderloin, and citrus poached lobster linguine. For an extra $21 guests can include a small wine pairing with each of the three courses.
