Vancouver is full of haunted houses in October leading up to Halloween. There are family-friendly spooky attractions, but also ultra-scary ones too!
Top scary Halloween attractions that are a staple every year include Fright Nights at the PNE and Cougar Creek House of Horrors in Surrey. In the Fraser Valley there is Brinkworth Dungeon in Langley, Maan Farms Haunted Mazes in Abbotsford, and Reapers Maze of Terror in Chilliwack. There is also Dead Fellows Haunted Brewhouse in Vancouver. New for 2024, there is Dreadworks Haunted House at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds.
As well, there are spooky walking tours with both Fort Langley Tours and Grave Tales in Fort Langley, and with Forbidden Vancouver in Gastown. In addition, you can enjoy Halloween fun at Canyon Frights at Capilano Bridge. And for folks who like scary movies, there is the Vancouver Horror Show film festival in both Vancouver and Burnaby.
Vancouver and the Lower Mainland have numerous haunted attractions to choose from. Most are super freaky and not for the faint hearted. Others are suitable for the entire family, except maybe not for very young children and folks with nervous dispositions.

If it happens this year, it’ll be at a new location.
In Langley, there are also walking tours with a Halloween theme. Fort Langley National Historic Site hosts a series of them, as does Fort Langley Tours.
- Grave Tales in Fort Langley – Halloween-themed walking tours take place in the Village of Fort Langley at night. It isn’t a “haunted house,” but the tours are as scary as one! In 2024, tours happen on 4th to 6th, 11th & 13th, 17th to 20th, and 24th to 27th.
