It’s been two decades since the Beaumont Studios first opened its doors in Vancouver, and the beloved space is celebrating with a special fundraising event that will help it close this chapter and open a new one. Art Incognito is a first-in-Vancouver anonymous art party that’s taking place this week, and you won’t want to miss it.

Two decades in Mount Pleasant

Inspired by popular anonymous art shows in North Vancouver and Whistler, Art Incognito will bring together over 200 artists and a multitude of creatives, enthusiasts, and collectors to the organization’s studio space in Mount Pleasant, where local artists have found community since 2004.

Established by founder and executive director Jude Kusnierz, the non-profit arts and culture hub provides an open, supportive environment for a wide variety of creatives to connect and practice their craft.

With The Beaumont officially achieving Charitable Status in Canada, there’s never been a better time to support the organization and Vancouver’s local arts scene.

“This moment marks a powerful new chapter for us,” says Jude Kusnierz, founder and executive director of The Beaumont. “We’ve spent two decades building a creative ecosystem with great economic impact on the surrounding community, always rooted in collaboration, and now, with charitable status, we’re ready to take bold steps toward securing our forever home.”

In addition to perusing hundreds of original 8″ x 8″ art pieces, attendees have the option of securing one to take home. According to organizers, attendees must trust their instincts and choose their favourite piece based on appearance alone. Once purchased, the artist’s name will be revealed — which could be a well-known Vancouver talent, a rising star, your local barista, or a celebrity creator. You’ll just have to see!

Tickets to the party are $20 per person, but those who want to bring home an original art piece (and help support The Beaumont in the process) can opt to add on an additional $50 to $250. Those purchasing the VIP Art Pick ($250) have first dibs on the artwork they’d like to select, followed by those who purchase $150, $100, and $50 art tickets.

Community Art Party

Organizers share that the Art Incognito exhibit will run in tandem with a Community Art Party, an immersive art experience with open studios, food trucks, cocktail bars, live performers, DJs, games, and giveaways.

As a cornerstone of the city’s creative ecosystem, it’s time to rally behind The Beaumont so that the organization can continue to make local art accessible to the community.

So grab your tickets and get ready for The Beaumont’s biggest art show of the year!
