Spring means it’s cherry blossom season in Vancouver! Our gorgeous city has more than 90,000 flowering trees, including more than 40,000 Japanese cherry flowering trees.

You’ll likely see beautiful blooms around the city, but we know you’re looking for the most over-the-top and breathtaking blossoms.

We’ve narrowed it down to the best on our map, where you can twirl beneath canopies of puffy pink popcorn balls and swoon amongst the densest tree-lined streets.

These spots were selected based on the following criteria:

  • The size of the grove
  • Spacing/density of the trees
  • Pink canopy/tunnel effect
  • Scenic backdrop
  • Accessibility

Check out our interactive map and a more detailed description of the best places to enjoy Vancouver’s gorgeous cherry blossoms below. You can also check the Blooming Now page from the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival for more information.

And while the cherry blossoms make for fantastic photos, please remember to be respectful when visiting neighbourhoods.
