Victoria Beckham is opening up like never before in her Netflix docuseries.

Released on Wednesday, the three-part documentary titled Victoria Beckham highlights not only her childhood and the Spice Girls’ journey but also a glimpse into her high-profile relationship with football legend David Beckham and her rise in the fashion world.

Among those that featured was her awkward encounter with Donatella Versace.

At the height of her girl group career, she was invited to attend her first runway show, and the brand had her fly over to Milan on a private jet.

As part of the experience, she had the luxury to shop and pick out her own look for Versace’s show and selected the black leather mini dress.

However, she felt the fit did not suit her and ended up making alterations, which included asking the staff to shorten the dress, tighten the waist and remove the sleeves.

“I basically redesigned the whole dress,” she said, adding, “I can’t believe I did that. So rude!”

The Italian fashion designer, who made a cameo in the Netflix documentary, shared her honest thoughts at the time and acknowledged that it was an inconsiderate action.

“You shouldn’t do it,” Versace shared. “That’s how I feel.”

When asked if she was surprised that the former girl group member almost redesigned the outfit, she said, “Yeah, and I thought, ‘How does she dare?’”

However, she praised her and admitted that the “Wannabe” hitmaker knows what she wants.

“Then I realised it was better on her the way she did it. She knows her body,” the creative director added.

Despite the time that has passed, the Spice Girls member reflects on the cringe-worthy moment she had with the fashion icon and still feels sorry for it.

“Still apologising all these years later,” she commented in a post to which Versace playfully responded, “I forgive you. I love you, Victoria.”

With Victoria Beckham launching her own clothing line and becoming a fashion icon, she and Versace have patched things up over the years.

However, it was only among the celebrity feuds that she addressed in her Netflix documentary. This includes her fallout with fellow Spice Girls Mel B and the misunderstanding they had ahead of the 2008 reunion tour with the group.

At the time, the mom of four was distancing herself from her alter ego Posh Spice, as she was starting out with her own identity as a fashion designer. Because of this, she initially wanted to skip the reunion, prompting Mel B to remind her of her roots.

“One of the girls actually said to me, and it did upset me not too long ago, actually, it was Melanie B who said to me, ‘Don’t forget where you’ve come from,'” she recalled.

Moreover, she clarified that she had “never forgotten” her roots and was grateful for her Posh Spice image, which opened many doors for her, including her career as a fashion designer.
