In partnership with Opry Entertainment Group, W Hotels has announced the completion of a substantial transformation of W Austin. The hotel’s redesign is inspired by Austin’s rich musical culture and the city’s stunning natural beauty.

The comprehensive renovation introduces a new restaurant, Serenade American Brasserie, 2nd & Roast coffee shop, the Blue Room cocktail bar, and redesigned guest rooms. The hotel’s transformation aims to enhance its standing as a leading destination, perfectly blending Austin’s urban energy with its natural charm.

George Fleck, Senior Vice President and Brand Leader of W Hotels, stated that W Austin aims to offer a vibrant experience that reflects the city’s energetic music scene. The hotel intends to celebrate both emerging and established artists.

The new design of the hotel lobby, known as the Living Room, aims to evolve with the city’s rhythm. The centerpiece is a gold bar inspired by a trumpet, which transitions from a daytime retreat to a nightlife hotspot featuring performances by local musicians.

The hotel’s 251 guest rooms, including 32 suites, have been fully redesigned to capture Austin’s live music scene and natural surroundings. The rooms feature deep shades of green, hardwood floors, concert photography, and premium amenities such as Nespresso machines and Marshall Bluetooth speakers.

Mark Fioravanti, President and CEO of Ryman Hospitality Properties, expressed satisfaction in seeing W Hotels’ bold vision realized in a manner authentic to Austin. The redesign aims to create a music-centric hub for both locals and visitors.

The hotel’s new 2nd & Roast coffee shop will offer coffee from local Austin roaster Medici and chef-crafted bites and pastries. The Blue Room, a reservation-only cocktail bar, will provide a seating-only experience where mixologists craft classic and signature cocktails.

At Serenade American Brasserie, Chef de Cuisine Johnny Ray Stinebaugh will blend Texan flavors with classic brasserie techniques. The menu will feature local ingredients and a curated drink selection.

Located in the 2nd Street District, next to the Austin City Limits Live venue and two blocks from Lady Bird Lake hike and bike trails, W Austin aims to provide unparalleled access to the city’s spirited culture.
