In this week’s Winter Escape movie, Hallmark heads to South America with stars Julie Gonzalo and Juan Pablo Di Pace in My Argentine Heart. Known for being the birthplace of the tango as well as its wine and yerba mate, Argentina also produced soccer star, Lionel Messi.

Abril goes to Argentina to save her family ranch from being bought by her ex, Diego. But when outside forces threaten the ranch, the pair must come together, rekindling their love in the process.
Where was My Argentine Heart filmed?
My Argentine Heart was filmed on location in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the surrounding areas. They also filmed at the famed Iguazu Falls in Misiones, Argentina.

Meet the cast of My Argentine Heart
Julie Gonzalo (Abril)
Julie Gonzalo has starred in several Hallmark Channel films, including Falling for Vermont, Jingle Bell Bride and Flip That Romance. Her most recent Hallmark credits include A Novel Noel and 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost. She has also starred in the TNT reboot of Dallas, as well as ABC’s Eli Stone opposite Jonny Lee Miller and Natasha Henstridge. Originally from Buenos Aires, Gonzalo is fluent in Spanish.
Fun fact: Gonzalo and When Calls the Heart star Chris McNally are a couple IRL!
Juan Pablo Di Pace (Diego)
Juan Pablo Di Pace is a multifaceted artist: An actor, musician and director. On television, Di Pace co-starred in Fuller House. He also starred in the Paramount Network movie Dashing in December and in the Hallmark Channel movies Raise a Glass to Love and Branching Out. He appeared on the 27th Season of Dancing with the Stars and became a semi-finalist, garnering numerous perfect scores throughout the competition. He also appeared in the film, Mamma Mia.
