There are only five episodes of Fire Country Season 3 left, and this new trailer for the remaining episodes promises that they’re going to be big ones.

The trailer offers the first listen of a new single by superstar singer-songwriter Jason “Jelly Roll” DeFord, “Dreams Don’t Die,” which will air during the CBS drama’s April 11 episode and be released on streaming platforms the same day. The “Need a Favor” singer is making his acting debut in the episode, and the trailer also features a first look at his performance. Check it out:

The Friday, April 4 episode, “Dirty Money,” is a crossover episode with the forthcoming spinoff Sheriff Country. In the episode, Bode Leone (Max Thieriot) teams up with his aunt, Sheriff Mickey Fox (Morena Baccarin), to investigate an attempt on the life of her father, outlaw marijuana grower Wes (W. Earl Brown). Baccarin and Brown will continue their stories in Sheriff Country, premiering this fall on CBS.

Then, on April 11, Jelly Roll guest stars in “Fire and Ice” as Noah,  a healthcare worker and former convict who is in the process of turning his life around. DeFord’s own personal story involves spending time in prison as a young man before finding redemption through music, so he’s a perfect fit for Fire Country, which is all about growth, change and second chances. He previously appeared as himself in an episode of Tulsa King, but this is his first time playing a character.

Fire Country returns after two weeks off this Friday, April 4, at 9/8c on CBS. The two-part season finale airs April 25 from 9-11pm ET/PT. New episodes are available to stream on Paramount+ the day after their linear premiere.
