If there’s one thing Polygon Senior Video Producer Patrick Gill is good at, it’s coming up with the perfect quip to say while knocking someone out in Hitman. It’s an innate talent that simply cannot be taught.
So when NVIDIA asked if they could send us an ultra powerful gaming machine to highlight their new line of laptop GPUs, our immediate thought was: how can we use this as an opportunity to make the dumbest jokes possible? And what’s more, how much of our YouTube audience will actually understand the multiple references we make to a 20-year-old film that evidently no one has seen except me?
I don’t have the answer to that second question just yet, but it’s a journey we’re all going to go on together! In the meantime, please enjoy fifty-two minutes of Pat attempting to accomplish the dumbest possible challenges Simone and Clayton could lob at him in Hitman: World of Assassination, while I sit, shaking my head, just slightly out of frame.
