Summer is finally here and it’s no better time to pull out the grill, open up a few beers and kick back with friends. While Memorial Day was the (unofficial) start of grilling season, the Fourth of July is the realtime to showcase your skills for all of your friends. But what do you do when you need something to hold you over until the food is done? Take a trip to Chipotle, of course.

For some people, grabbing food from Chipotle is the meal on the holiday, so it should be no surprise that plenty of people wonder: Is Chipotle open on the Fourth of July? And if you happen to be one of the people who wonders that, lucky for you, we’ve got you covered.

Is Chipotle Open on the Fourth of July?

Chipotle has a variety of items that can serve as a delicious holdover on the holiday or just as the main meal of the day. From burrito bowls to tacos, you won’t be disappointed if you’re stopping by for a meal. But will they even be open on the big day if you’re craving something off of their menu?

Thankfully, Chipotle will be open on the 4th of July, but if previous years are anything to go by, the chain will be operating on reduced hours. According to a 2017 post on their X account (formerly known as Twitter), Chipotle operates until 3 p.m. on the holiday, with regular hours resuming on July 5. And while they have not revealed what exact hours they will be operating on July 4 just yet, you should expect for your local chain to be operating on that schedule again. Of course, to be sure, we advise you to check your locale before heading out to confirm hours.
