The famous Stratford Festival is in full swing, and theatre fans from across the country and beyond are flocking to catch some unique performances – from reimaginings of iconic Shakespearean plays to more modern theatrical offerings.

But where do you start, and what is worth seeing this year? Aisling Murphy, the Globe’s theatre reporter, has been following this year’s Stratford Festival since it kicked off last month – reviewing shows from Anne of Green Gables to a ‘90s biker bar reimagining of Macbeth.
