Highguard is almost upon us, as it is releasing on Monday, Jan. 26. Since the game’s reveal at The Game Awards, there hasn’t been any updates or news on what Highguard entails or what you should expect from the shooter, but we know that it’s a “PvP raid shooter,” where players, known as Wardens, fight for “control of a mythical continent.”

What we do know is that the game is coming out on Monday, and we know the specific Highguard release time too. Here’s when Highguard releases in your time zone.

Highguard release time in your time zone

There isn’t an official release time by Wildlight Entertainment, but, according to SteamDB, the official global release of Highguard is on Monday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. EST. Here’s when that is in your time zone:

  • 10 a.m. PST for the west coast of North America
  • 1 p.m. EST for the east coast of North America
  • 3 p.m. BRT for Brazil
  • 6 p.m. GMT for the United Kingdom
  • 7 p.m. CET for western Europe
  • 3 a.m. JST on Tuesday, Jan. 27 for Japan
  • 5 a.m. AEDT on Thursday, Jan. 27 for the east coast of Australia

There’s no news on whether you can pre-load Highguard or not, but the game is free-to-play. We’ve no reason to suspect this will be the case, but the release time may differ between platforms, as we cannot verify the PS5 or Xbox Series X times.

What to expect from Highguard

This is the big question, isn’t it? We know Highguard is an FPS game, from the creators of both Apex Legends and Titanfall, which is a seriously impressive portfolio. It’s described as “a PvP raid shooter where players will ride, fight, and raid as Wardens, arcane gunslingers sent to fight for control of a mythical continent,” according to the Steam page.

But what exactly is a PvP raid shooter? The term hasn’t been used before, so it’s not clear what you should expect when you finally get into a game. To help you learn more about what Highguard is, Wildlight Entertainment has prepared a launch showcase on Monday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. EST. This will coincide with Highguard‘s release time, so make sure to launch the game and tune in as it’ll feature a gameplay deep dive, a year one roadmap, and more.
