Honkai: Star Rail patch 3.6 is coming soon, bringing new characters and story with it. This update adds two new versions of characters we already know, March 7th Evernight and Dan Heng Permansor Terrae.

Below, we explain when Honkai: Star Rail maintenance starts and ends, alongside the release time of version 3.6. We’ve also added some details about what to expect from Honkai: Star Rail version 3.6.

What time does Honkai: Star Rail go down for maintenance?

Honkai: Star Rail will go down for maintenance on Tuesday, Sept. 23 or Wednesday, Sept. 24 (depending on your time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:

  • 3 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, Sept. 23 for the west coast of North America
  • 6 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, Sept. 23 for the east coast of North America
  • 7 p.m. BRT on Tuesday, Sept. 23 for Brazil

  • 7 a.m. JST on Wednesday, Sept. 24 for Japan
  • 8 a.m. AEST on Wednesday, Sept. 24 for Australia

Make sure to burn your fuel before maintenance starts, if you wanted to, but remember that the new battle pass starts after the game comes back up, so you may want to hold on to some of it.

What time does Honkai: Star Rail version 3.6 start?

  • 11 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, Sept. 23 for the east coast of North America

The servers may come up early or late, depending on how maintenance goes, but these are the approximate times 3.6 should go live. Usually Hoyoverse is pretty good by abiding by maintenance times. We don’t usually get extended maintenance, but it does end early sometimes!

What’s new in Honkai: Star Rail version 3.6?

This update adds two new playable characters who are actually familiar faces: Dan Heng Permansor Terrae, a Physical Preservation version of the crew member we know and love, as well as March 7th Evernight, an Ice Remembrance version of our usually-cheery crewmate. Players will actually be able to claim Dan Heng Permansor Terrae for free if they log in before version 4.1. There’ll also be some droma-themed events, and Seal Slammers will be making a return alongside the Origami Bird mini-game, too.
