The 36th annual Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are out, and while Colorado dominates the list with the top resort of 45 across the U.S. and Canada, voters also recognized these beautiful BC resorts.
Whether you’re a “moguls expert, a terrain park shredder, or a novice still mastering blue runs,” these resorts “ticked all the boxes.”
Whistler Blackcomb, BC
Snagging the #2 spot on the list of Canadian and American ski resorts is none other than Whistler. While the resort is down a spot since last year, it’s still considered the “largest destination ski resort in North America” for a reason. With unmatched mountain skiing and snowboarding fit for any level, and an après-ski scene that’s “just as legendary as its slopes,” there’s no denying that Whistler Blackcomb reigns national champion in Canada for a reason.
In terms of resorts, Condé Nast recommends the 519-room Chateau Whistler, the Westin Resort & Spa, and Nita Lake Lodge.
