Series: My Life With the Walter Boys: Season 2 
Air date: Aug. 28
Synopsis: Jackie has to work on her feelings for the Walter boys as he returns to Silver Falls with unresolved feelings, while small-town tensions resurface.
Why watch: If you like young adult shows, then this is a good watch. It has all the trappings of young adult love, drama and friendship.

Film: The Thursday Murder Club 
Air date: Aug. 28
Synopsis: This film follows four irrepressible retirees – Elizabeth (Helen Mirren), Ron (Pierce Brosnan), Ibrahim (Ben Kingsley) and Joyce (Celia Imrie) – who solve cold case murders for fun. When an unexplained death occurs on their own doorstep, they find themselves with a real whodunit on their hands.

The comedy unfolds as the unlikely duo must navigate the chaos on a day that just keeps getting worse.
Why watch: It really is an unlikely duo that many didn’t see coming — Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson. Tune in for this alone.

Film: The Terminal List: Dark Wolf
Air date: Aug. 27
Synopsis: This is a prequel series with an origin story that follows Ben Edwards (Taylor Kitsch) throughout his journey from the Navy SEALs to CIA Special Operations. The espionage thriller explores the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it. Chris Pratt also reprises his role as James Reece.
Why watch: For those who enjoyed The Terminal List, this should be on your watch list.

Film: The Map that Leads to You
Air date: Aug. 20
Synopsis: Before embarking on her perfect plans, Heather (Madelyn Cline) sets off on an adventure across Europe with her best friends, where she meets Jack (KJ Apa), a magnetic and mysterious stranger. They have an instant connection that ignites an emotional journey neither of them expected.

Film: Final Destination: Bloodlines

Synopsis: Death is on the doorstep again, and this time, the film tracks down a generational story. Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, Stefani heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle – her grandmother Iris – and save her family from the grisly demise that awaits them all. 
Why watch: This is a solid Final Destination film, continuing the strong legacy that the franchise upholds. The film is entertaining, well-written and has some well-executed grisly traps that fans will relish.

Synopsis: Set in 1987 Oakland, this film traces a handful of colourful characters as their lives clash together, including an NBA star, a corrupt cop, a female rap duo, teen punks and a debt collector.
