Congrats to the (kind-of) newlyweds! When Calls the Heart stars Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace secretly married earlier this year with McGarry confirming the nuptials this past weekend during a panel at the Hearties Family Reunion, an annual fan convention for the show.

In an Instagram post, the moderator makes a comment after seeing McGarry with a ring on his left hand, “I hope that’s not a prop,” the moderator says. McGarry holds up his hand and says, “No. No. It’s not a prop,” while the fans cheered and applauded.

McGarry and Wallace met on When Calls the Heart, which is Hallmark Channel’s longest-running series. They bonded over a mutual love of music. On the series McGarry, 39, plays Mountie Nathan Grant while Wallace, 35, plays Fiona Miller. The two characters have never been linked romantically on the show and Miller left in Season 11 due to scheduling conflicts. The two also appeared together in Feeling Butterflies and My Grown-Up Christmas List for Hallmark Channel. Wallace will appear in the upcoming Taylor Sheridan series, Land Man, on Paramount+.

The two got engaged before Christmas in 2022, sharing the news to their fans on Instagram. Wallace captioned the post simply with “Forever❤️”.

While no specifics were given about their nuptials, it appears the two may have gotten hitched earlier this year, perhaps on Valentine’s Day. Wallace posted an image of her and McGarry to Instagram where it appears she is wearing two rings on her left ring finger and is dressed in white.

After news of their nuptials broke during the Hearties Family Reunion, Wallace finally posted an image to her Instagram page with the simple caption, “Just McGarried”.

We wish the couple a long and fruitful marriage!
