This year, National Sons Day falls on Sunday, September 28, 2025. It is celebrated on the 28th of September every year in the United States.
However, there is more than one day set aside to celebrate your little boy (even if he’s all grown up!) as an additional National Sons Day has been celebrated on March 4th since 2018.

While most individuals celebrate National Sons Day in September, others have started recognizing it in March. The latter began in 2018, after a mother, Jill Nico, created a Facebook page to recognize sons and the efforts of those who raise them.

No, National Daughters Day and Sons Day are celebrated on different days. This year, National Daughters Day is on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

What Do You Do on National Sons Day?
