Getting Grounded 2’s lingonberries and turning it into lingonberry leather follows a method similar to what you’ve likely already done to get blueberries and blueberry leather. Collecting lingonberries is much more dangerous, though, and requires some additional preparation to make sure you come out from the hedge (mostly) unscathed.

Below, we explain where to find lingonberry in Grounded 2 and how to get lingonberry leather.

Where to find lingonberry in Grounded 2

Lingonberries are large, red berries that grow under the hedge that runs along the park’s northwestern border. The hedge starts just north of the snackbar and runs through the Pine Hill region in the far northwest, with entry points spaced out intermittently along the way. One primary entryway is just after the hedge begins near the snackbar, and there’s another near the picnic table ranger station, with one more behind the Pine Hill ranger station and the tree that gives the region its name.

You have a chance of running into multiple enemy varieties in this area, from full-grown Orb Weavers and scorpions to aggressive stinkbugs, bumblebees, more larva than you saw in Grounded 2’s starting area, and robotic O.R.C. variants of all these. That’s in addition to the smaller foes who tend to swarm you once you’re in the hedge, such as spiderlings. You can dash in on your ant buggy, get a few berries, and leave without getting caught in a major encounter. However, if you want to take your time, make sure you’re wielding stronger weapons — those made from ant parts at the least — and armor.

Where you enter the hedge doesn’t matter, as the berries are, in our experience, dotted along little stems overhead throughout the length of the area. It’s dark under there except during mid-day, so you might want to bring a torch as well. Use your bow and arrow to knock a berry down, and then use your tier-two Omni-Tool axe to chop the berries up. If you haven’t upgraded your axe yet, take a trip to the picnic table nearby to gather some blueberries and roach chunks, then upgrade your axe at the nearest ranger station.

How to get lingonberry leather in Grounded 2

Once you’ve got your lingonberry pieces in hand, the process of turning them into lingonberry leather is the same as it is with blueberry leather. Take the chunks to a ranger station, and pass one through the resource analyzer to unlock the lingonberry leather recipe.

Crafting one piece of lingonberry leather requires three lingonberry chunks, though if you’re just after the Omni-Tool Hammer upgrade, you only need two pieces of leather.
