The Globe’s list of 101 must-listen Canadian albums was challenging to come up with, and we want to know which ones you think we missed.Supplied

Canadian music is as iconic as it is diverse, and that made creating a list of 101 must-listen albums for Canada Day a patriotic but very difficult task for The Globe and Mail’s Arts teams.

Their picks span genres and generations from coast-to-coast, bringing together music that represents both the impact our talented musicians have had on the world and that define our county as a whole.

101 Canadian albums you should listen to now

But picking just 101 was a challenge, and we almost certainly left off albums that mean a lot to many others in Canada.

So we want to hear which Canadian albums you feel should have made the list. Do you have a personal favourite that played a significant role in your life? Or perhaps an artist that always reminds you of home when you’re far away?

Check-out the full list, which you can search by artist and album name, and tell us which album(s) deserved a place and why. You can share your thoughts in the form below, or send us an email at audience@globeandmail.com with “Canadian Albums” in the subject line.

We can’t reply to everyone individually, but we may include your submission in a follow-up story.

Which Canadian albums are missing from our list?

We know there are surely hundreds of other musical works that could have been included in our 101 must-listen Canadian albums. Did we leave out your favourite, or is there one that is too iconic to not have a spot? Tell us which albums we missed and why you think they deserve to be included in the form below or by emailing audience@globeandmail.com with “Canadian Albums” in the subject line.
