After the prologue in Forza Horizon 6, you’ll need to pick one of three starter cars, and the options presented to you are vastly different from one another. This is the car the game will put you in immediately too, so it’s presented as an important choice: Do you take the 1989 Nissan Silvia K’s, 1994 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205, or the 1970 GMC Jimmy?

Here’s the Forza Horizon 6 starter car choice broken down and explained so you know which one you should choose.

Which starter car should you pick in Forza Horizon 6?

Before you choose a car, it’s important to know that you’ll receive all three cards regardless of your choice. Your choice will only affect the car you drive for the next segment. As soon as you’re given the option to change cars, you can try the other two out. Here’s a breakdown of what each car has to offer though:

First things first, all three cars are C class, with a rating of exactly 500. However, the Nissan Silvia K’s has the lowest launch, acceleration, and off-road stats of the three, but it has the highest braking, and it’s the second fastest. It’s also the only rear-wheel drive option, and it looks the coolest by far. It’s valued at 40,000 credits.

The Silvia K is designed for street races, so if you like speeding through Tokyo City, this is the car for you.

1994 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205

If you’re after a sleeker, sportier look, the Toyota Celica should be your pick. This is an all-wheel drive car with the fastest speed and the best handling, although it’s joint with the GMC Jimmy for the worst braking. It’s valued at 27,000 credits.

The Celica is designed for dirt racing, so if you enjoy rally car or a nice stroll through the woods, this is the car for you.

1970 GMC Jimmy

Finally, we have the GMC Jimmy, which comes kitted with rally tires and as you’d expect, has the best off-road stat by a country mile. It also has the highest acceleration and launch stats, although the lowest speed, handling, and braking. This is also an all-wheel drive car, but it’s the most valuable at 60,000 credits.

The Jimmy is meant for cross country races, so if you enjoy going off-road or crashing through trees, this is the car for you.

Either way, you’ll only be using your choice for the next race with Mei and Jordan. After that, you can change your car to another in your garage.
