RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars has returned. And for Season 10, the franchise brought back 18 former contestants to compete for the crown. However, this week we’ve got six brand new queens competing on our screens. That’s because while the drag queens in the Werk Room may be familiar faces, the format for All Stars Season 10 is brand new (and more than a little confusing TBH). Here’s a quick overview in case you need a refresher:

Qualifying Rounds:

  • The 18 queens are divided into three brackets, with six queens in each. The top three queens in each bracket will move onto the semi-finals.
  • Each bracket will compete in three maxi-challenges over the course of three episodes. The top two queens each episode will each earn 2pts.
  • The top two queens each episode will lip sync against one another for an additional 1pt.
  • Each episode, the four losing queens will each be given 1pt that they will have to bestow upon the “Most Valuable Queen” of the week, which can include the other winners or the top two.
  • At the end of each bracket, the three queens with the most points will move on, while the bottom three will be eliminated. (The end of Episode 3 concluded Bracket 1, so three queens have been eliminated and six more queens from Bracket 2 began this week.)

Semi-Finals:

  • It’s a bit unclear what the exact format of the semi-finals will be, but the nine remaining queens will return to compete in two additional episodes.
  • Over the course of two episodes, the remaining nine queens will somehow be whittled down to a smaller group who will progress to the finals.

Finals:

  • Again, the details are a bit murky here, but whichever queens (most likely 3-5 of them) will return for the finale to face off in the Lip Sync Smackdown for the Crown.
  • However, an added wrinkle was added to the mix. Of the 9 queens who lose their brackets, each of the regular judges (Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews and Ts Madison) will each select one eliminated queen to return. From that list, one name will be drawn at random and that queen will also be added into the final Lip Sync Smackdown for the Crown.
  • The winner will receive a cash prize of $200,000 and a place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

Did you follow all of that? No? Well, we’ll figure it out as we go along. Episode 4 is the start of Bracket 2, so Tina Burner, Kerri Colby, Lydia B. Kollins, Nicole Paige Brooks, Jorgeous and Mistress Isabelle Brooks are now in their competitor era. The six of them are competing for three spots in the semi-finals. This week, they competed in their first of three maxi-challenges with only five points awarded. Most of this bracket’s points will be awarded during Episodes 5 and 6.

Here’s our spoiler-filled recap of everything you need to know about what happened in RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 10 Episode 4.

Who was eliminated on Episode 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 10?

No one!

In the Tournament of All Stars format, queens are only eliminated at the end of their bracket, which means we won’t lose another three queens until the end of Episode 6.

Who won Episode 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 10?

Lydia B Kollins

Paramount+

Lydia B. Kollins

Fresh off of Season 17, Lydia came into All Stars 10 seemingly as a bit of an underdog. After all, her five competitors had YEARS to hone their craft in between their original season and All Stars. However, Lydia is both a crafty queen and a lip sync assassin, so this week played into her strengths. During the 8 Ball design challenge, the queens were tasked with using all 8 materials to make a garment. Lydia’s zebra, neon jumpsuit caught the judges’ eye (although I would argue that it was actively bad, so we shall see how the fans react), which earned her a spot in the top two with Tina Burner. Lydia then won the lip sync battle to “Love Sensation” by Loleatta Holloway to earn three points.

Who earned points in Episode 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 10?

Because this is the first episode of the three-episode Bracket 2 series, only five points were awarded. Lydia snatched three for winning the challenge and the lip sync, while Tina Burner got two for winning the challenge. Next week, the other four queens will have to hand out their MVQ points, so stay tuned to find out if that causes drama. Here’s the breakdown of points earned this week:

  • Lydia B. Kollins: 3pts
  • Tina Burner: 2pts
