The third and final night of Battles for Season 27 of The Voice unfolded with coaches Adam Levine, Kelsea Ballerini, John Legend and Michael Bublé matching up two members of their teams in duets, which determined which artist went through to the Knockouts and which one went home.

This season, celebrity advisors have returned for the Battles. Cynthia Erivo is assisting Team Bublé, Kate Hudson is tutoring Team Adam, Coco Jones is guiding Team Legend, and country great Little Big Town (Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook) is instructing Team Kelsea.

Each coach has one Steal and One Save this season. On night one, Adam used his Save on Darius J, and John used his Steal for country singer Tatum Scott and his Save to keep Nell Simmons on his team. Night two saw Adam use his Steal for Ari Camille, Michael used his Save for Barry Jean Fontenot, and Kelsea used her Save for Hailey Wright. That meant that going into night three, there were no Saves left, but Kelsea and Michael each had their Steal. Michael used his Steal to get Simone Marijic on his team, and Kelsea used hers to Steal Tinika Wyatt from Team Adam.

Here’s a spoiler-filled recap of what went down on Night 3 of the Battles on The Voice tonight.

Battle Round 1: Iris Herrera and Simone Marijic from Team Kelsea

Song: “ceilings” Lizzy McAlpine

Winner: Iris Herrera

Kelsea said: “I chose Iris because she really knows her voice, and she knows how to use it to show how unique she is.”

But Simone isn’t leaving! Michael used his Steal to get her to Team Bublé.

Steal: Simone Marijic

Kelsea said: “Simone really deserved that Steal, and I am really happy it was with Michael. I feel she has a really classic, cool element to her voice that Michael can help finesse.”

Michael said: “This is my second season, and what I’ve learned is I know what I want. I was hoping that Simone would be available for the Steal. She’s young, she obviously has a great work ethic, I think I have a dark horse on my team. She could be the winner of The Voice.

Battle Round 2: Dimitrius Graham vs Divighn from Team Bublé

Song: “Leave the Door Open” by Anderson.Paak, Bruno Mars, Silk Sonic

Winner: Divighn

Michael said: “I love Divighn. I love how solid, how slick and smooth he is.”

Battle Round 3: Trevon Dawson vs Tyler Kae from Team Adam

Song: “I’m With You” by Avril Lavigne

Winner: Trevon Dawson

Adam said: “There’s too much unknown with Trevon, and I’d love to explore it. He’s a good kid and he’s got a great work ethic. He’s very mutable, and he can do very well on the show. Trevon is my lone country singer, which is great.”

Winner: Renzo

John said: “Jay vs Renzo was fun. But Renzo is a force to be reckoned with, and he keeps showing us why he deserves to be here and why everyone thinks he’s going to go really far on the show.”

Battle Round 5: Adam David vs Ricardo Moreno (Replay) from Team Bublé

Song: “Home” by Michael Bublé

Michael said: “I picked Adam over Ricardo just because I love the character of Adam’s voice. Adam has a kind of cool bluesy, soulful jazz voice that I dig.”

Battle Round 6: Jordan Allen vs Jacquelyn George from Team Legend

Song: “Islands in the Stream” by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers

Winner: Jacquelyn George

John said: “I had to pick Jacquelyn as a vocalist. Her voice is more dynamic and exciting.”

Battle Round 7: Jessica Manalo vs Dan Kiernan from Team Kelsea

Song: “Good Luck, Babe” by Chappell Roan

Winner: Dan Kiernan

Kelsea said: “I love that Dan’s voice is so dynamic. I am very much on the Dan train.”

Battle Round 8: Robert Hunter vs Page Mackenzie from Team Kelsea

Song: “Lies Lies Lies” by Morgan Wallen

Winner: Page Mackenzie

Kelsea said: “Page has power to her voice but she also knows how to reign it in and then open it back up and break the walls down.”

Steal: Tinika Wyatt

Kelsea said: “With my Steal, I just wanted to feel something. Hearing her voice, I just knew. What’s up, girl? Tinika adds a level of soul to Team Kelsea that I’m very excited about.”
