In the book, Skye reveals that she and Cusack had real-life chemistry when working on the Cameron Crowe film, but she didn’t act upon it until years later. Following her divorce from Horovitz, she reveals in her book, “I had to get it out of my system,” per People.

She sent Cusack a draft of her book to read and he followed up with a text that said, “You made the experience sound so meh! It wasn’t ‘meh’ for me.”

“I was like, I’m telling a story, and it was more about how all of our chemistry was in our working together and stimulating each other’s minds, not sleeping together!” Skye told People, “I felt a little bad, but, oh well.”

In her memoir, Skye also reveals that she dated Kiedis when she was 16 and he was 24, and later became pregnant from him and had an abortion as he was battling heroin addiction.

Her marriage to Horovitz lasted eight years but ended in 2000 after she explored her bisexuality and had a number of flings, including one with model Jenny Shimizu, she reveals in the book.

For the last 15 years, Skye has been married to Australian rocker Ben Lee. The two have a daughter Goldie, 15, and she also has a daughter, Kate, 24, with David Netto.

Skye and Lee also share their thoughts with the world on the Weirder Together Podcast.
