City Growth

Golf at these courses continues to grow — the city of Toronto reports an increase of nearly 15,000 more rounds played last year than during the previous year, and a record high of more than 240,000 rounds were played in 2023.

Tee-off start times will vary throughout the season but will end at dusk and be staggered 10 minutes apart throughout the day. As daylight hours extend, tee times will adjust to allow for dawn-to-dusk play.

This year, the City has also partnered with Thistle Golf Ltd. to manage play, pro shops, as well as food and beverage services at all five City-operated golf courses.

As the season can get quite busy, golfers are encouraged to book tee times up to seven days in advance through the City’s website. Rentals are available from the pro shop at each clubhouse.
