Women We Admire has named its Top 50 Women Leaders in Hospitality for 2024. The list recognizes women who have made significant contributions and shown exceptional leadership in the hospitality sector, which is broad and includes areas such as food and beverage, travel and tourism, recreation and entertainment, and lodging. Despite women occupying more than half of the roles in this industry, less than a third hold leadership positions.
Among the awardees this year is Noël Mika Bahamón, the first Chief Marketing Officer for Go Rentals. Bahamón has been instrumental in the company’s rapid expansion to over 250 private aviation locations nationwide.
Renee MacDonald, Vice President of Strategic and Venue Partnership Development of Encore Event Technologies US, is also on the list. MacDonald has consistently achieved impressive growth figures, with annual revenue and budget surpassing $1.5 billion.
Another honoree is Lisa Checchio, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. Checchio is responsible for revenue generation and commercial strategy for the world’s largest hotel franchising company, which operates around 9,200 hotels across 24 brands in 95 countries.
