Wyndham’s Viva Resorts Opens New All-Inclusive Getaway in Dominican Republic

Viva Miches by Wyndham, an all-inclusive resort in the emerging tourist destination of Miches, Dominican Republic, is now open for bookings. The resort was officially unveiled on December 20, 2024, and offers special introductory rates starting from $117 per person per night.

Located in the coastal town of Playa Esmeralda, Viva Miches offers a tranquil escape from the usual crowded tourist sites. The resort is easily reachable through major airports such as Punta Cana International Airport and Las Américas International Airport. The location provides a stunning backdrop of untouched beaches, lush landscapes, and nearby ecological reserves, making it ideal for couples, families, and adventure seekers.

The resort comprises 538 rooms with modern amenities and various activities for all age groups. Accommodation ranges from spacious ocean-front suites to ground-level “Splash” rooms with private plunge pools. The resort features an infinity pool with a swim-up bar, a kids’ club with supervised activities, and five restaurants serving international and local cuisines.

Guests can indulge in various land and water sports, including kayaking, windsurfing, snorkeling, and pickleball. Nearby attractions include Los Haitises National Park and small fishing towns like Boca de Yuma. Excursions to Montaña Redonda’s hilltop swings and panoramic views are also available.

This $130 million investment marks the completion of the resort’s first phase. Future plans involve expanding to approximately 750 rooms.
