The Amazing Digital Circus has become a massive global phenomenon, racking up tens of millions of views and dominating Netflix’s global top 10 charts. With the show’s ongoing success, fans are eagerly looking forward to Episode 8. However, if Netflix is your primary platform for catching up with Pomni, Jax, and the rest of the digital crew, you might need to exercise a bit of patience despite the fact that episode 8 just dropped.

When the partnership between GLITCH Productions and Netflix was originally announced, the plan was for new episodes to debut on both YouTube and Netflix simultaneously. However, as the series has progressed, that day-and-date release strategy has quietly been retired.

During the GLITCH Direct 2025 presentation, the creators clarified their evolving approach to Netflix releases. Instead of dropping individual episodes on the streaming platform as soon as they are finished, GLITCH opted to hold them back and release them in chunks.

Why the Delay?

The reason for this staggered release is actually quite simple: viewer habits. As the team at GLITCH explained, “We found out that people prefer watching things in batches over on Netflix”.

Because Netflix audiences are heavily accustomed to the binge-watching model, dropping a single 20-to-30-minute episode every few months doesn’t perform as well as serving up a multi-episode feast. We saw this strategy in action late last year when Episodes 5, 6, and 7 were bundled together and released on Netflix in December 2025, months after Episodes 5 and 6 had already premiered on YouTube.

A Netflix representative confirmed the same will take place again with new episodes, although the date for the next batch is not yet confirmed. A Reddit thread suggests that the final episode is scheduled for this June, which could be when the next batch comes.

Where to Watch Episode 8 Right Now

The good news is that you don’t actually have to wait to see what happens next. The single-episode release format is still alive and well on YouTube, which remains the flagship home for The Amazing Digital Circus. If you are strictly a Netflix viewer, rest assured that Episode 8 is not skipping the platform. Once enough new episodes have been released on YouTube, you can expect them to make the jump to Netflix in one convenient batch further down the line.

Until then, you can either catch the newest madness over on GLITCH’s YouTube channel or settle in for the wait until Netflix gets its next highly anticipated drop!
