You may be serious about your ambitions but don’t get so serious that the joy goes out of what you are doing. What is the point of reaching your goals if in the process you forget how to smile? You can be successful and have fun as well.
If friends and colleagues tell you one thing today but your instincts tell you another it is your instincts you must listen to. Even if people higher up the executive ladder say you have got it wrong, have the courage to ignore them and act accordingly.
You’ve had your fill of people who do nothing but talk and now you intend to act swiftly and decisively. That may mean acting alone but on this occasion it could actually make things easier as you will have less of other people’s baggage to carry.
GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):
Because you are so quick off the mark others sometimes feel inferior when you get stuff finished before they’ve even started, but if you are smart you will slow things down today so they are able to keep up. And yes, you will probably feel bored.
CANCER (June 22 – July 23):
The task you are working on may be difficult but if you crack on with it and refuse to give up you will do such a good job that your superiors will praise you to the skies. Which could make it a good time to ask for a pay rise.
LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):
You must think logically today and you must keep your tendency to get emotional over issues you feel strongly about in check. To make a real difference in the world you sometimes need to separate what you would like to do from what can be done in reality.
VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):
Something you hear from a trusted source will intrigue you today but you will also worry that it could be false information. You may not be able to tell why you feel that way about it but you are, hopefully, smart enough to trust your instincts.
LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):
Libra is known as the sign of the balance and that could come in handy today when you are faced with a problem that others believe has only one solution. Work out how it can be turned from a win-lose situation to a win-win situation.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):
A minor disagreement could get out of hand over the next 24 hours and if it does it will hold you back from accomplishing a goal that is important to you personally. Keep your distance from other people’s petty disputes – you really don’t need to get involved.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):
It’s not like you to be sensitive to criticism as you usually could not care less what other people say about you but a comment made by a friend or family member will cut deeper than you expected. Could it be because they have a point?
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):
You may be entitled to ignore advice from a senior colleague but if you do and then make a mess of things you must expect a backlash of some kind. Maybe on this occasion they know better than you. Maybe that’s why they are senior.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):
You will have to force through changes that other people don’t much like today. If they do as you say and go along with your plans it should work out okay, but if they try to resist then you may have no option but to get tough.
PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):
You may be inclined to give up on a task that seems impossible to complete but keep at it. You are closer to a breakthrough than you realize, so refuse to admit defeat. It will taste so sweet when it eventually comes together.
