IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY
If you accept that conflict is a fact of life and that sometimes you have to fight for your beliefs then the coming year won’t hold too many terrors. You may even find that you enjoy pitting wits with people you once thought of as scary.
Don’t try to get everything done in one mad rush as the week begins or you will quickly exhaust yourself. Slow down and give yourself time to consider your options for the rest of the month. It’s not about speed, it’s about focus.
TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):
You may not have made much progress with a creative endeavour of late but it’s no big deal so don’t despair. There will be many more opportunities to push ahead with it over the next few weeks. You’re not on the clock, so why hurry?
If a colleague or rival wants to make personal comments about you that’s up to them but you don’t have to respond in kind. Ignore what they say and carry on with what you are working on. Your inevitable success will shut them up.
You must speak up and let a friend or loved one know that what they are doing could end in disaster. The fallout is unlikely to damage you personally but you don’t want someone you respect to suffer because they did not get the right advice.
There are plenty of con artists out there and if someone offers you the chance of a lifetime today you can take it as read they are hoping to cheat you. They say there is a fool born every minute but you don’t have to be one of them!
If someone in a position of authority asks you to do something you are not happy with today you must say “No” and mean it. They may hold a grudge against you as a result but rather that than you betray your own principles.
You may be absolutely sure that your way of looking at a situation is the right way but don’t make a big deal of it. Some people believe the most stupid of things and are unlikely to be swayed by evidence, so why waste your time on them?
Try not to get angry with someone whose mind does not move as swiftly as yours. It takes all kinds to make such an interesting world and even those who don’t share your level of intelligence and understanding may have something to teach you.
You seem to be coming in for a lot of criticism of late, most likely because you have made it crystal clear that you intend to follow your own path through life. Even if the whole world is against you today it won’t worry you in the slightest.
While you may be at the top of your game both physically and mentally some of your friends and loved ones seem to be flagging a bit, so make allowances and don’t expect too much of them. Be smart and give them time to recover.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):
The planets warn if you try too hard to dig yourself out of some kind of hole today you could end up even further down than you are now. Instead, do nothing but stay alert for sudden events that could change the picture entirely.
Don’t worry if you have not been able to get through to a loved one recently because the entry of Venus into your sign tomorrow will make understanding each other easy again. You’re not really as far apart emotionally as it might seem.
