With the outer planets strong on your birthday you need to find meaningful causes to pursue. The more you join with others to make the world a better place the more the world will reward you emotionally, materially and maybe spiritually too.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

If a family member wants to go their own way and do their own thing this weekend you must let them. Think of it as an emotional investment: If you give them their freedom now they will love you all the more for it later on.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

It may seem as if you are no closer to a goal than you were several months ago, but while you may still be in the same place in a material sense you are far better prepared to move fast when the opportunity arrives, which it will very soon.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Mars in your sign does wonders for your self-belief and what occurs over the next 48 hours will confirm that you have what it takes to compete at the highest levels. If you keep your eye on the prize it won’t be long before you possess it.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You may have to make a sacrifice of some sort this weekend but you know that in the long term it will be worth it. Whatever moves you closer to your ultimate goal is to be welcomed, even if you have to give up certain things along the way.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Look back over the past few months and assess how far you have come. The fact is you have covered a lot of ground in a relatively short space of time and have every reason to be proud of yourself. Now ask yourself what you can do next.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

What occurs this weekend may catch you by surprise but most likely it’s your own fault for refusing to face up to reality. Wake-up calls are rarely pleasant but this one will point you in the right direction and give you a helpful push, so welcome it.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You may be tempted to tell a friend or family member what you think they want to hear but that would be a mistake. They are looking to you to be honest with them, because they know that is the only way they are going to learn.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Try not to get too caught up in the idea of winning and losing. We live in such a competitive world that we sometimes forget there are situations where everyone can prosper. You will win best this weekend if everyone else wins as well.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

This is an important weekend for you in that the decisions you take now will cast a long shadow into the future. By all means listen to what other people tell you but recognize that in the end it is your own judgment that matters.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

There is no point being cautious when everyone else is moving at maximum speed. If you don’t want to get left behind this weekend you can and you must take a few risks, because your rivals won’t be waiting for you to catch up.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

The only things that can hold you back are your own doubts and fears. With Pluto in your sign still moving retrograde you may be reluctant to push ahead with your plans, but your ruling planet Uranus says it’s got to be now!

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):
