As Mars moves into your sign on your birthday you will discover new sources of energy and won’t lack for opportunities to prove yourself. Socially and professionally you will be much in demand, but make sure your own interests always come first.

See to it that you make a good job of routine matters today. A lot of eyes are on you now and if you want important people to like what they see you must stay calm and not complain that you are being asked to do too much.

You can get through a lot of work in a relatively short space of time today but don’t just throw yourself at what you’ve got to do without some kind of plan. Aim to take a series of small regular steps rather than a few giant strides.

Other people will be hugely demanding over the next 24 to 48 hours thanks to the influence of the lunar eclipse. Do what you can to meet those demands but don’t push yourself too hard and run the risk of doing yourself a mischief as well.

An opportunity to move up in the world may be welcome but it could also be a trap. If you look ahead and see that the end result will be you working harder than ever while getting little in return be prepared to say “no thanks”.

The upcoming lunar eclipse warns that you need to be extra careful with money over the next few days. If you keep spending at your current level you could find yourself out of pocket by the end of the week, and out of favor with loved ones.

The approaching eclipse in your sign is bringing relationship issues to the fore and what occurs over the next few days will make it clear that changes are essential. Let others know it’s not only you who needs to be making those changes.

If you fear the worst for no good reason today maybe you need to rein in your imagination a bit. You may also need to distance yourself from people who are constantly negative in their outlook. They are simply not good for you.

Other people’s problems are not your concern – in fact the best way you can help them is by keeping your distance. The planets warn if you allow yourself to get emotionally involved you will regret it before the end of the week.

Something you have been working on for quite a while seems to be entering a phase where it all starts coming together. That’s great, but don’t expect much encouragement or praise from your fellow workers – because your efforts are making them look bad.

The more life throws at you today the more you must raise your game and show those who may be having doubts that you have what it takes to compete at the highest level. You have come so far, now go all the way.

If you are asked to take on a new responsibility today you must do so willingly and give 100 per cent effort, even if it bores you to tears. Don’t give your rivals an opportunity to cast doubts on your willingness to get the job done.
