IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Saturn’s influence on your birthday could make you a bit too cautious for your own good. By all means weigh up the pros and cons of what you are planning but once the balance favours one side or the other you must take immediate action.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Do what you can to help a friend in need this weekend but don’t go too far and make promises you may not be able to keep. If you let them down, even in only a small way, your reputation for reliability is likely to suffer.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You must take other people’s opinions into account before you make your next move. On the home front, especially, if you push ahead with plans that loved ones have doubts about you could cause a rift that takes a long time to heal.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

The message of the stars this weekend is that you have been trying too hard of late and need to go easier on yourself . No one expects you to be a miracle worker so why would you expect it of yourself? You have limits like everyone else.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If someone you don’t entirely trust starts waving the flag and appealing to your sense of duty you must be on your guard. They may claim to be working for the greater good but it’s more likely they are interested only in lining their own pockets.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If someone in a position of authority says something today that does not ring true you must confront them about it. Avoid being openly confrontational but make sure they give you a straight answer and make sure that answer makes sense.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You seem to believe that a problem can be solved by throwing lots of cash at it but what occurs this weekend will make it clear that is not the answer. You need to get to the root of the matter and that means asking some awkward questions.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

The more time you spend with a loved one who seems a bit depressed the more you will come to understand what is making them so miserable. It may be that a little sympathy from you is all they need to start loving life again.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If a colleague throws their weight around over the next 48 hours the last thing you must do is throw your own weight back at them. According to the planets they are looking for an excuse to start a fight. Don’t give it to them.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

A difference of opinion with a business partner could have a serious knock-on effect on your finances this weekend, so make an effort to stay on good terms and, if you do fall out, make sure there is an easy route back to harmony.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Someone on the work front seems to be stirring things up a bit and you need to make sure that their mischief-making can’t harm you. How will you know when they are lying to you? It happens every time they open their mouth!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

As one of the zodiac’s “fixed” signs you don’t often change your views and you are not about to change them now just so a friend can feel better about themselves. If they don’t like what you have to say then clearly they need to shape up.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

A clash of egos is likely this weekend and the planets warn that both sides have more to lose than to gain. It could be one of those situations that is filled with sound and fury but which ends up achieving nothing of any worth.
